The Korean Embassy in Vietnam, Quang Ninh People’s Committee, Korean Cultural Center (Director Suk Jin Young) and Ha Long University collaborated to organize the event, known as the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Korea (1992-2022).

Thousands of students and residents of Ha Long City were very excited to experience various Korean cultural features for the first time, such as trying on Korean costumes (hanbok). Many people enjoy Korean dishes such as mixed vermicelli, rice rolls, kimchi, spicy rice cakes, and rice water. They also learnt about Korean tourism through pictures and documents; played games to win souvenirs; learnt Korean creative content and Korean.
The unique performance program, in particular, provided wonderful moments of relaxation for students and Ha Long audience through familiar musical melodies of Korean dramas, along with K-pop dance hits such as Wonder Girls’ Nobody, You Are My Everything (Song from the film Descendants of the Sun), BTS’s Fire….and a unique taekwondo performance by singer Trung Quan Idol, band Minh Toc and Lam, group Crystal, K-pop cover dance group The A-code, taekwondo performance team Flame Team.
