The MOTIVE project, supported and inspired by MOET, aims at ensuring that the Vietnamese higher education system addresses the challenging of reform policy implementation on graduates tracking by monitoring their transition towards the labour market as well as their employment situation, through the set-up of the first National Center for Graduate Tracking in Vietnam.
Halong University (HALOU) is a partner of MOTIVE Project with others 7 universities and 1 association named as: NUAE, PTIT, HUHA, HTC AJC, TNU, VNUA and HanoiSME respectively which are co-funded by Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.
HALOU is known as an university with multidisciplinary and multi-disciplinary training which provides highly qualified human resources in science, technology, economics, tourism, education and humanities society not only for Quang Ninh province but also for the Northern delta region.
The MOTIVE project, “MOnitoring Trends In Vietnamese graduates’ Employment”, is cofunded by the European Commission under the Erasmus+ Programme, Key Action 2 Capacity Building in Higher Education, from 15 January 2020 until 14 January 2023.
The project envisages the following specific objectives: (1) To strengthen the capacity for the Vietnamese to release graduate surveys; (2) To build-up the capacity for the Vietnamese in exploiting the data of graduates for the adoption of quality assurance measures; (3) To increase cooperation between Vietnamese universities and MOET on graduate tracking; (4) To reinforce the connection between partner institutions and society on graduate tracking.
